Turning customer behavior into a clearer subscription strategy
Using KPI design, customer segmentation, and a cost-delivery matrix to refine subscription positioning and increase entry-level plan adoption by 35%.
The situation
An early-stage real-estate technology platform was shaping its subscription model and needed to understand how customer needs, product delivery, and price fit together.
The design question
How could the entry-level offer become easier to adopt without creating a plan the organization could not sustainably deliver?
My contribution
I defined and tracked engagement, retention, and feature-adoption KPIs. I analyzed customer segments and behavior using SQL and Excel, then collaborated on a cost-delivery matrix that made subscription tradeoffs visible.
The system
The approach connected customer segments, plan value, delivery scope, and operational cost in one decision model. It gave the team a practical way to compare offers instead of treating price as an isolated number.
Outcome and lesson
The refined entry-level subscription offer increased adoption by 35%. The lesson was that pricing is a product-system decision: customer value and delivery reality have to be designed together.
